Do you struggle to find party shoes with low heels? This is a problem that many of my clients come to me with.
I’m not going to lie to you, flat/low heeled party shoes are much harder to find than a high heel but they are out there and can be just as pretty and glamorous as a higher heel. Here are my top 4 and the reasons I have chosen them for you.
M&S Glitter Block Heel Pointed Toe Court Shoes £25
These shoes are party perfect. The gold colour will brighten up any outfit and the glitter will sparkle as you dance the night away. The pointed toe and the V shape will flatter and lengthen your legs. They will look fabulous with nude tights but they also have a thin black ring around the opening so if you wanted to wear black ones they would look just as lovely. For £25 I think these shoes will be a great addition to your wardrobe. They could even be worn with a pair of jeans to add a bit of pizazz!
River Island Black Bling Detail Shoe £65
If you’re looking for some extra bling to wear with your party dress then these River island shoes will definitely bring it on. They are a stunning deep black (yes there are very many shades of black) and the crystal look strap is super glamorous. Again they have a rounded toe which will elongate your legs. This style is totally on trend and will update a classic outfit that you already have hiding in your wardrobe.
ASOS DESIGN Pointed ballet flats in silver glitter £22
These adorable silver flat sling backs tick all the boxes for a stunning pair of flat party shoes. Pretty colour, sparkly, flat (so you can be the dancing queen all night long), rounded toe, sling back so they stay put. Also a really good price point at £22. Again you could dress up a pair of jeans with these for a more relaxed luxe look.
Boden Bronze and Black Adelaide Jewelled Flats £110
These shoes come in a bronze or a black and are slightly less understated glamour. They are perfect to jazz up any outfit and still be able to stand up for as long as you need to. With a pretty bow on the front they will be comfortable and wearable for long periods of time. The upper is a suede with an almost cracked look to it which makes them that bit different to your everyday shoes.
Alternative ideas
Shoe Clips
If you have a pair of shoes that you love but just feel they are not dressy enough then why not adorn them with some glamorous shoe clips that just clip on to the front of the shoe. They come in various designs from pom pom, to bows, to diamante brooches. They are widely available these days but I checked out Amazon and they have some really pretty ones.
Shoe Dye
Are you favourite shoes looking a bit sad but are still fundamentally sound and fit well? Why not think about dying them, either the same colour to give them a colour boost or a completely different colour to make you feel like you have new shoes. This is a really great way to stay sustainable and glamorous at the same time.
In Summary
I hope this has given you some great ideas if you need, or want, to wear a low heel for a special occasion but I am happy to help with individual advice should you need any.
